When Qigong practice includes movement, it is called motion Qigong, thus, the
sixteen movement of Yuangong Qigong is a motion Qigong. The sixteen
movements of Yuangong aim at strengthening our physical body.  They are
simple to learn and require a little time to complete the practice. However, it
produce profound result very fast.   Yuangong exercise includes two levels,
each level contains eight movements.

The movement in level I is designed to enhance the flow of energy in
our body.  Also, each movement has a specific function in treating many
disorders.  Level I is the base for level II.  These movements are
effective in treating:

  •  Disorders in the cervical, vertebrae, and headaches

  •  Disorder in the lungs, chest, trachea, and lower back.

  •  Lower back and digestive problems.

  •  Treating joints of the feet and establish balance.

  •  Smoothing out blockage of Qi. Treating rheumatoid arthritis,
    rheumatism, stroke, varicose veins.

  •   Tightness in the chest, lung problems (pneumonia, bronchitis
and respiratory ailment). Strengthening the intake respiration,
    and enhance the immune system.

  •   Enhancing the amount Qi in our body by gathering the Qi from
the heaven and the earth.  Open central meridian channel in our
    body.

  •   Concentrating Qi in Dantien, which is the storehouse of Qi.

The eight movements in level II are designed for you to get in a realm
of being in harmony with the heaven and the earth.  They address the
unification with everything in nature, relaxing mind and tissues.
Yuangong Movements

Any object in the universe has its spirit and energy, has its positive side and negative side.  So is the human being.  In
general, a sickness is the sign of low energy state or disoriented energy state in a human body.  At these states, our bodies
need to "invite", not to seize" the energy from the universe into our body.  This is the key to invite Qi to enter our body.
Yuangong incorporates many ways of calling the spiritual Qi from the cosmos.  These methods include standing and sitting
mediation, visualization and breathing exercises.
Connecting With Nature

Generally speaking, it is a sitting meditation with a little or no movement.  In this form, it   always come along with
visualization.  Quiescent Qigong emphasis the cultivation of mentality and spirituality.  In the beginning stage of Qigong
cultivation, movements and meditation should each occupy half of the total practice time.   In advanced Qigong cultivation,
no movement is involved and it is all replaced by meditation, which connect us with the universe and bring us relaxation,
harmony, tranquillity and intelligence.

Quiescent Qigong applies in many levels.  With different visualizations or combining different types of breath, you can build
up different realms with different outcomes.  However,  the unexceptional process is the same:
it gives the quiescent and tranquility in mind,
It allows one to get rid of the complex of your thinking, leave one of what you are pleased with.
Eventually, all the thinking disappears, reaching a divinely realm of absolutely quiet and harmony
emptiness of your mind
Quiescent Qigong

Qigong healing techniques inherited from ancient China. These methods are passed on from generation to generation to
achieve optimum health and longevity. They are effective methods for healing one's self and others, especially from chronic
diseases. In the past, these methods were cherished and made only available to these highest levels of medical doctors or
masters. We are now on a mission to share these healing methods for the benefit of more people.
Healing Techniques
Yuangong at the advanced level goes into further depth on the techniques to cultivate Qi and develop Exceptional Human
Functions.  These Yuangong techniques also involve both motion Qigong forms and quiescent meditation of breathing and
visualization exercises.

Some of exercises are:

Red sensing hands

Pushing mountains

Three point stance

A series of Qi accumulation breathing exercises

Qi movement exercises
Advanced Yuangong

Yuangong has specific exercises to develop certain Exceptional Human Functions (EHF).  EHF is external manifestation of
latent human ability. In other words, it is the ability to be clairvoyant, mental telepathic, and/or to see into the future.
There is nothing magical or mysterious about EHF. It is considered exceptional because only a minority of the human race
is aware of their abilities.

In ancient time our tribal ancestor used these abilities in their daily lives. For instance, before they would leave home for
a hunt they would visualize the surrounding environment for the possible target and to avoid danger. As humans evolve
from a nomadic hunting lifestyle to a settled agricultural society, their innate ability gradually devolved.

In history there is much evidence of people with EHF. For example: People now tend to relate EHF with Qigong and
assume that only Qigong practitioners develop EHF. In fact before Qigong became popular there were already many
witch doctors using EHF in treatment. They discovered their healing power unintentionally and began to help people
solve many problems. In the United State during World War II a renowned psychic, Edward Cayce, was able to diagnose
diseases and prescribe medication effectively without formal training. On the other hand, practicing Qigong is an excellent
way to develop EHF.  Our repressed or underdeveloped potentials are activated in a Qigong state.
